Psalm 103:2-4

“Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget none of His benefits; Who pardons all your iniquities, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with lovingkindness and compassion;” (Psalm 103:2-4 NASB) Father, I want to be like David.  I want my entire soul to bless You, my mind engaged, my intellect, my emotions…my entire nature. Forgetting your blessings is ingratitude and rebellion on my part.  I do not want to neglect purposeful remembering of Your Hand of blessing and protection. I sit and gaze at the beauty and bounty You have blessed me with.  Nothing I have done,  or will ever be able to accomplish,  can make me deserving.  Thank You.  You are perfect and holy, I am not. You have not only given me existence here on this planet, you have provided future and eternal life.  You have removed the blame for my failures. You allow repentance and You forgive my purposeful rebellion against Your standard of right and wrong.  You mend the malady of my hum

Introduction

 Before digital days, I journaled on paper a lot.  I did scripture prayer journals that somewhere along the way I gave to my sons.  Today, I’m starting this blog to begin that habit again.
